A jar of garden flowers and our first beginner kit. Two deep claret daisies, a cream rolled rose and blush-pink five-petal blooms sit among sage leaves, golden mimosa sprigs and dark green fern fronds.

The design is printed straight onto the fabric, so there's no tracing. Each part uses one or two simple stitches, which makes it a good first hoop.

What's in the kit

  • Premium linen-blend fabric, pre-printed with the design
  • Full skeins of DMC six-strand cotton in every colour you need
  • 2 embroidery needles
  • Step-by-step Threaded Shed stitch guide

Hoop not included. The design fits a 6 inch hoop. You can add one under "Add accessories" when you order.

Stitches you'll use

Satin stitch, lazy daisy, French knots, woven wheel rose, stem stitch, back stitch and fly stitch. The guide walks you through each one.
